

Get to know the story of the Supercheeses
The Super Cheese movement began in the Serra da Canastra region, sparked by Jordane Macedo’s challenge to Ivair and Lúcia of 'Queijo do Ivair' in May 2023 to produce the largest artisanal Minas cheese ever made.
From this challenge, the idea of creating something bigger arose, going beyond a simple record — the Super Cheeses.
To undertake this venture, Renata De Paoli of 'Curadoria do Queijo' and Cassiano Peluso of 'Jornada do Queijo' were called upon.
Combining forces with Jordane Macedo in communication, Lúcia and Ivair with the tradition of their award-winning cheese, Cassiano Peluso with his extensive cheese-making experience, and Renata De Paoli connecting the project with associations and producers, the 'Super Cheese' project was born.
The project is growing collaboratively, with various regions joining the 'Super Cheese' initiative, promoting the appreciation, recognition, and promotion of artisanal cheese and its producers, strengthening the entire sector.
